the brand that puts babies first

THE MISSION

A newborn’s future is limitless. However, many children across the globe are unable to tap into this potential. Every year, liquid medication dosing mistakes injure over ~140,000 children in the U.S. and ~7,000 of them die. Over half of these deaths occur during the instance of administration. The prescriptions exist, but the methods by which these liquids are delivered must be simple, convenient, and reliable for a solution to be adopted and scaled. To combat these errors across sites of care, we present a simple yet targeted solution that delivers pre-measured liquids to infants using innovative technologies.

The Mission

THE NUTRIFIER

Our solution is an all-encompassing variation of the standard silicone pacifier, modified to store and dispense pre-dosed liquid nutrients and medicines. The product’s design takes advantage of a baby’s natural sucking reflex in order to administer these liquids non-invasively, enabling parents and medical personnel alike to have a simpler and much more seamless administration experience. While enabling the patient to remain at the center of the therapeutic journey, the Nutrifier also addresses cultural barriers, socioeconomic factors, and personnel burnout, all of which contribute to dosing inaccuracies & reduced adherence across sites of care.
